About the WILLARD BOOK FAIR

All proceeds from the Book Fair go to supporting the purchase of books and other literary resources for Willard classrooms and the school library, as well as supporting our PTG. Our goal is to provide books for every reading-level and price-level to keep the kids excited about reading! Volunteers provide help during classroom visits, organize books, run the checkout table, and more!

• Students will be visiting the Book Fair during the day with their class. Feel free to stop by during your child/children’s allotted time or you can send your child to school with book fair money!  The class schedule is published in the Willard Weekly. Want to come as a family to check out the fair? There will be evening hours offered on Tuesday from 5:30-7:30pm. 

• As in previous years, families will have the opportunity to fulfill teacher and librarian “Wish List” book requests to enhance classroom libraries and add to the school library collection. Wishlist books will be available to purchase during the book fair.  If you are unable to attend, but would like to donate towards classroom wishlist books, you can donate online via PayPal.

• We stock a diverse range of titles, including Picture Books, Easy Readers with familiar characters, Massachusetts Children’s Book Award (MCBA) titles, popular series such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Babysitter’s Club, as well as non-fiction books, graphic novels, and fun-to-do books.  Prices range from $5.30-$21.24 (including tax), and average around $12. Confidential financial assistance is available by contacting Tracy Breen, the Willard School Counselor.
